Ship certification strengthens the military

——China Centennial Famous Ship Exhibition

From the small red ship that ignited the revolution to the majestic ship that led the great cause of rejuvenation, the footsteps of the Chinese nation towards becoming stronger by the sea have never stopped. The development history of the Chinese navy is an epic of struggle intertwined with tragedy and glory. In the 1895 Sino Japanese War, the Qing Beiyang Fleet, once known as the "number one in Asia and the ninth in the world," was completely destroyed, becoming a profound imprint of the humiliation of old China's maritime power and sowing the seeds of exploration and development for China's maritime army. On April 23, 1949, the first navy led by the CPC was born in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, opening a new era for the Chinese navy. For over 70 years, the People's Navy has grown from nothing to something, from weak to strong, gradually becoming a strategic military branch with five complete branches and both nuclear and conventional capabilities, achieving a historic leap and becoming a strong backing for safeguarding national interests. Behind this is the sacrifice and dedication of countless martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country and shed their blood on the sea.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti Fascist War, the Hai'an Museum has specially introduced the original exchange exhibition "Ship Certificate Strong Army - China's Centennial Famous Ships Exhibition" from the Zhongshan Ship Museum in Wuhan. With the centennial development of the Chinese navy as the main line, this exhibition shows the representative classic warships in various historical periods through three units: "The Tragic Song of the Sea Power of the Old China", "The People's Navy's Development and Growth", and "The New Century Goes to Dark Blue". It tells the story of the back of the warships with the "warships" as evidence of history. The "warships" show the epitome of the development and growth of the Chinese People's Navy under the leadership of the CPC over the past century, and the strength of the sea and the dark blue.
