Qingdun Site Museum introduction
Haian Qingdun site museum is located in group 3, Qingdun village, Nanmo Town, Hai'an city (east of Huguo Temple). It covers a total area of about 24000 square meters, a construction area of 2000 square meters and a total investment of about 24 million yuan. It was put into trial operation on May 18, 2019 and opened to the public free of charge.
Qingdun site, discovered in 1973, is an important Neolithic site in the east of Jianghuai river where the earliest archaeological excavation was carried out and the archaeological excavation report was published. The site has a large area, thick cultural layer, rich cultural relics, complex cultural connotation and well preserved. It represents a new archaeological cultural type in the east of China. Many important cultural relics were unearthed, It has aroused strong repercussions in the archaeological community. The discovery of Qingdun site has pushed the written history of Hai'an for more than 3000 years. In May 2006, Qingdun site was announced by the State Council as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
Hai'an Qingdun site museum is a special museum displaying Qingdun site. Through the combination of pictures and texts, physical objects, multimedia and scenes, it comprehensively interprets and displays the Qingdun site from the aspects of the discovery and excavation of Qingdun site, the production and life of Qingdun ancestors, and the cultural value of Qingdun site. The graphic layout in the exhibition area is exquisite, and the scene layout is vivid, so that the audience can not only gain knowledge, but also have an immersive feeling.
The completion and opening of Qingdun Site Museum has effectively improved the social influence of Qingdun site, and has brought a positive impact and role in building Qingdun cultural brand and promoting the protection and utilization of Qingdun site under the integration of culture and tourism.
